Registration procedure for students and teachers/Instructors

wishing to attend the Congress trade show
January, 2012

Landscape Ontario's Congress 2012 encourages students, along with their teachers/instructors, to attend the exhibits and the educational seminars of Canada's largest horticulture, lawn and garden trade show. We offer special packages for the trade show and conference passes to all students along with their teachers/instructors who are pre-registered by a teacher/instructor of a related SHSM, or post-secondary program.

1. Students must be pre-registered by a teacher/instructor of an industry-related educational institution.
2. Registrations must be completed through the online registration
3. NOTE - Early bird deadline is Dec. 16, 2011. Registration closes Jan. 6, 2012 – NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. If you are registering teachers/instructors and/or students for any conferences/seminars, the fee must be paid by credit/cheque to complete your registration (by the deadlines noted in #3 above).
5. Each student and teacher's/instructor's name must be entered online when registering to receive a badge. Badges are required at entry.
6. Each school is to confirm attendance date and expected arrival time. Landscape Ontario staff will contact each school prior to the event to confirm this information. A Landscape Ontario committee representative will board each bus upon arrival to welcome you. Teachers who need to pick-up badges on-site are asked to do so while the students remain on the bus to prevent congestion at the main entrance: Door F.
7. Each school must supply an on-site contact number for a teacher/instructor who will be at the event. Teachers at this number must be accessible for the duration of the students' attendance at the Congress Trade Show. We appreciate your co-operation with our safety protocol.
8. In addition there must be an emergency contact name and number for each school: Principal/director of program (who is not on-site) provided on the registration form. Thank you again for complying with the Congress Trade Show's safety protocol.
9. Entry to the trade show is by name badge for students and teachers with valid school sanctioned ID.
