Better Illumination For Outdoor Living

Featured Keynote Presentation from Doug Alderman

In this interactive session we will celebrate the history of light from torches and candles, to the invention of the incandescent light bulb, to Solid-State Lighting and LED's of today.  Using references and demonstrations, participants will come to truly discover Light, time's swiftest traveler which teaches us look at the body first, then the aesthetics.

KEY TAKE-AWAY POINTS:

·      A BRIEF WALK THROUGH HISTORY - We celebrate the development and influence of light.  It is a rich mixture of
ingenuity, persistence and technology that brings us to understanding a most challenging lighting technology of today … Solid-State Lighting.

 ·     DELIVER THE PROMISE - LED's in outdoor lighting applications have created much excitement - justifiably so. The LED promises long life, energy savings and a better illuminated, safer outdoor environment.

 ·     THE HUMAN SIDE - Why Light? Good lighting is defined at the beginning of each project with each client.  You must write it down for each and every job you do.  You can't look it up on the Internet.
