Clifford George Carley, 73, of Oakville, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Cliff was best known for the entrepreneurial success of his Oakville business Cliff's Lawn & Garden Equipment which he owned and operated for over 33 years. Everyone is welcome to share memories and stories in a celebration of life, Sat., April 18, 2:00 p.m., in the Pine Room at Oakville Arena, 133 Rebecca St.

Cliff was also respected and much cherished for his role as an active member of the M.O.H.A. for many years, both as a coach and a convener. He enjoyed playing hockey, making numerous friends in oldtimers leagues and tournament teams over the years. Cliff enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, fishing, backyard barbecues with friends and family, and was an ardent Maple Leafs fan.

Cliff is survived by his beloved wife Hilkka, loving and devoted father to his two sons and their spouses; David and Marie, Steven and Jennifer. Cherished grandfather to Katherine (Allan), Lori-Anne, Richard, Lisa, Liam and Shayla, treasured great-grandfather to Nolee and Allan Jr., loved brother to Robert and his wife Mary, dear Uncle to Jon, Brendan (Stephanie, Sabine, Xavier) and Ryan. Friends and family will remember Cliff as courageous, passionate and outspoken with a great sense of humour. His life has touched many people. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Parkinson Society or the charity of your choice would be most appreciated.
