Do you want to improve yourself, and your company? Want to take it to the next level? You are not alone! Wouldn't it be ideal to share goals and concerns with someone that isn't in direct competition with us? Sometimes we just want the privacy to "open up" about your next level problem.

We are very excited to launch a new member inspired program: Landscape Ontario Connects.

This is an exclusive opportunity for LO members to mutually benefit with their peers one-on-one in an honest, respectful, and confidential environment free of judgement. LOC is meant to foster peer connections with like-minded professionals and encourage discussion and personal and professional growth.

The first step to getting involved is filling out the online profile.

After you have completed the profile you will be provided with a password to access a list of your fellow LO members who are looking to connect. We'll then help get you into a partnership and "connect" with companies in an area other than yours.

You can be a mentor, a mentee or a co-mentor.

It's your chance connect with professionals outside of your work area to discuss the nitty gritty details and challenges of a horticultural business today.

What's different about Connects

LOC is based on on-on-one mentorship relationships rather than group discussions. Anything shared with your connections is considered confidential information within the mentor-mentee relationship. You are only sharing this information with someone you have chosen, and who has agreed to keep everything discussed to themselves. It is also encouraged that you connect with LO members outside of your Chapter region. This eliminates the 'competition' factor. This is your chance connect with professionals outside of your work area to discuss the nitty gritty details and challenges of a horticultural business today. Lastly, how you connect with your fellow LO members is entirely up to you. While networking opportunities will be available for LOC participants, the vast majority of communication will be between a mentor and mentee, or mutual mentors. You decide how, when and where you will connect, as well as what topics you want to discuss.

Landscape Ontario Connects is a way to maximize your membership, and utilize your professional network to address challenges, set goals and share the successes of you and your company.
