This meeting will feature Dan Watts, Professor of Graphic Design at St. Clair College as he teaches you how to take eye-catching job site photos!
Dan Watts is a professor, facilitator,
coordinator and curriculum developer in the creative fields of graphic design,
illustration and photography. In
addition, he has decades of applied business and creative experience in the private
sector as a Graphic Designer, Photographer, Advertising Manager and Associate
Creative Director.
After earning a degree in Visual Arts, he
began his graphic design career with Sears Canada in Windsor. He later joined
The Windsor Star as senior designer and editorial illustrator. He was recruited back to Sears Canada as
Advertising Manager for the Windsor and Chatham stores. During his tenure there his creative team
played a large part in making Sears Windsor one of the most successful stores
in Canada, year after year.
Dan joined the creative team of
Commercial Associates/Ross Roy, where in his capacity as Associate Creative
Director, he created and art directed projects for print and training
presentations that traveled nationally.
He joined the faculty of the Graphic
Design Program at St. Clair College in Windsor.
As a passionate instructor in graphic design, illustration and
photography he is privileged to have been a part of the training and
development of many successful designers and photographers. In addition, he created the very popular
Tradigital Animation Program.
Today, his professional focus is on
creative excellence in design and photography.
