The Snow and Ice Sector Group of Landscape Ontario, the Ontario Parks Association and the Municipal Equipment and Operations Association are hosting Partnering for Success, an annual symposium and equipment display program.
Mark your calendars on September 1 and 2 to attend at a new location: Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex in Kitchener, Ontario. In addition to a display of equipment, this year's seminar program features two different tracks to help you make your operations more efficient and cost effective.
Build-A-Bid Program: September 1, 2010
The Build-a-Bid program was assembled by members of SIMA (the Snow and Ice Management Association) to address one of the greatest business challenges they faced, proper pricing. Their work resulted in this full-day program that will help you put together and sell snow and ice proposals that fit YOUR business model.
Education Program and Trade Show: September 2, 2010 This full day program is a general overview of many different components of snow and ice control, as well as parks and landscape management. This series of short talks will give employees a great training and refresher opportunity. Sessions include:
Equipment and technology display On September 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., during seminar breaks and the extended lunch, participants will be treated to indoor and outdoor displays of some of the latest equipment and technologies for the snow and ice control industry, including the Municipal Equipment and Operations Association. From trucks to plows and from electronics to software, you will find the tools to help improve your business from over 100 exhibitors!

What is the Cost? Sept. 1 Build-A Bid Program; only $250 for LO members and $350 for non-members.
Sept. 2 Educational Program: only $100 for members and $140 for non-members. (Includes lunch and the exhibits) Trade show entry with lunch for Sept. 2 is $40. Entry-only to trade show is free of charge. To ensure a lunch, registration must be completed by Aug. 29.
