Perry Molema garden dedicated May 31

Perry Molema was an avid gardener, talented landscape designer and Canadian ponding pioneer. Before his untimely death in December 2012, he was a long-time member of Landscape Ontario and spent years acting as president of both the Windsor and Toronto Chapters. Family, friends and colleagues got together to create a memorial garden in his name in November 2013. Volunteers came from across Canada to help build the garden in tribute to a man, who they say was "the best ambassador for water gardening." The 7,600 sq. ft. memorial garden is complete, and will be dedicated Saturday, May 31, at 1 p.m, at Zonta Park at the corner of King Street and William Street in Chatham.

Funds are still needed to cover all bills for the memorial garden. Donations of any amount are gratefully accepted here, or a paver can be purchased for $1,000 and engraved with either a business name or family name. If you are interested in purchasing an engraved paver, please contact Sasha Hunter, shunter@aquascapeinc.com. All monies donated will go to covering outstanding costs for the garden.
