In this Peer session, we will discuss the benefits of having clear job descriptions guiding pre interview and face to face hiring discussions. We will also look into what message are you communicating to potential employees. Is your message matching what todays prospects are looking for?
What first impression are YOU making on them? (i.e. interviews on the fly, disorganized greetings or hap hazard/rushed interviews) Examine how closely you walk your own talk, and how potential or new employees experience you and your company from day one.
Together with your Peers, create a post-hire checklist for paperwork, sign offs, training plans and resources available to simplify and improve what new recruits experience.
First impressions are huge, and it's a two way street. Worried about retention?....
