Green Roof Professional (GRP) Training in Toronto: October 22 to 24

Many Ontario jurisdictions are establishing programs that encourage, incentivize or mandate green roofs based on their ability to manage stormwater on site and reduce the burden on aging municipal infrastructure. This is creating new opportunities for individuals who design, install and maintain green roof systems.
Green Roofs for Healthy Cities’ 3-day Green Roof Professional (GRP) training program provides detailed technical information on the green (vegetated) roof design and installation process, and prepares individuals for accreditation as a Green Roof Professional (GRP). Discover the full range of green roof system types and components, explore implementation issues for new and retrofit buildings, and learn how to integrate green roofs with other building systems for maximum client benefit.
Registration includes detailed reference manuals and tours of local projects. Landscape Industry Certified Professionals can earn 22.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for attending.
