Paradise Banquet and Convention Centre (Jane & Hwy 7, just east of 400, north of 407) Tues., Feb. 25, cost is  $34 - $40 pp.  $15 early-bird,(until Feb. 7 for example) and the $25 pp after, to encourage early registration.

2)  Canada Blooms – Meeting on Oct 22 to judge applications for Blooms. Bidding companies not permitted at judging. Designers group contributed 3 members for the judging – a good group of designs were available and only a few had shortcomings. Constructive feedback will be provided to ensure standards are met. Future meeting to develop judging format and criteria for built gardens at show.

3)  CNLA  Many municipalities are mandating certification. We would benefit  to convince public sector groups to require certified staff on contracts.

4)  Company Accreditation – Lots of opinions. More discussion around a framework developed at the CNLA and PLANET is scheduled for the next meeting.
