Toronto emissions control session at LO’s office

Landscape Ontario, in partnership with the City of Toronto, invites members to a meeting on Feb. 10, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at LO’s head office in Milton, regarding the reduction of emissions from outdoor power equipment. The city is interested in working with industry to further reduce emissions. Feedback will help create a report that Toronto City Council will receive in April 2010. The report will outline a framework for addressing the emissions from outdoor power equipment, including new program and regulatory options. City staff needs to hear from LO members so that the actions recommended can be implemented.
