Building Snow Management Success
2009 Snow & Ice Symposium


The Snow & Ice Sector Group of Landscape Ontario will be hosting 'BUILDING SNOW MANAGEMENT SUCCESS', their annual symposium and equipment display program on September 15 in Milton, Ontario. In addition to a display of equipment, this year's seminar program features 2 different tracks to help you make your operations more efficient and cost effective.


The following are concurrent full day sessions. You can only sign up for one session.

Build-A-Bid education track 1

The Build-A-Bid program was put together by SIMA to help address one of the biggest challenges snow contractors face. This full-day program will help you create and sell proposals and quotes the fit YOUR business model. This detailed workshop for owners and managers will cover everything from understanding your numbers to qualifying costs. Registration for this workshop is limited to just 20.

Technical roundup education track 2
The Technical Roundup is a general information session for all employees of snow & ice contractors. A series of seminars will cover different topics such Liability, a Technology Update, an MTO info session, Customer Service and Calibrating Your Equipment.
Registration maximum 80 people.


Equipment and technology display
The Equipment and Technology Display is a trade show for the snow & ice management and control industry. During seminar breaks and the extended lunch, participants will browse tools from trucks to plows, applicators and electronics to help improve business operations. Expect to see more than 25 different exhibitors.

    What is the Cost?
    The Build-A Bid Program is $250 for LO members and $350 for potential members.
    The Technical Roundup is only $90 for members and $130 for potential members.
    All programs include lunch and the exhibits.

    Equipment display booths are available from just $150 and sponsorship packages are also available.
